Albion Xmas Band 2025 The Albion Christmas Band are widely regarded as the premier seasonal show, which has been touring for 26 years this year, and attracts sell-out audiences across the UK. Indeed, many people say that their Christmas doesn’t start until they have seen The Albion Christmas Band.

Featuring the combined talents of Simon Nicol (Fairport Convention), Kellie While (Albion Band) Simon Care (Edward II) and the Guvnor himself, Ashley Hutchings MBE, this show takes you on a guided tour through the Christmas customs of Britain.

Christmas Copper Workshop With Shalini Austin Join Lincolnshire based artisan metalsmith Shalini Austin to make decorative items out of copper sheet and wire. This workshop is suitable for both adults and ages 8+. You will be able to make colourful Christmas themed decorations in copper for indoor or outdoor display. Learn about metalwork tools and how to use a hammer to create texture and dimension on flat copper sheet.

Classic Rhythm Classic Rhythm is a dynamic chamber trio formed in 1992, featuring flute, piano, and percussion. They have achieved great success, performing to sold-out audiences across the UK, broadcasting on Classic FM, and appearing on BBC2. Their repertoire blends classical favorites with jazz, light music, and original compositions, presented with engaging stage presence. They have played at prestigious venues like London’s South Bank and the Welsh Proms, with frequent festival appearances. The trio—Helen O’Connell, Adrian Sutcliffe, and Chris Brannick—are Royal Academy of Music-trained musicians who have performed worldwide, captivating audiences with their diverse instruments and lively performances. Jeanie Barton Quartet - Stamford Jazz Nottingham's first lady of jazz, singer Jeanie Barton, fronts the Stamford Jazz House Trio to perform swinging arrangements of the Great American Songbook in this intimate Cellar Bar space. SIMFestival Schubert Quintet Join violinist Freya Goldmark and friends for an evening of festive warmth and exceptional chamber music at SIMFestival’s annual Christmas concert. Snow White - Polka Dot Pantomimes 2025 Mirror Mirror On The Wall. What’s the fairest panto of them all?

Following last year’s record breaking pantomime the Guildhall Arts Centre and Polka Dot Pantomimes are proud to present this year’s magical Christmas extravaganza SNOW WHITE.

This enchanting fairytale will captivate audiences of all ages and is the perfect festive treat for the whole family. With spectacular scenery, dazzling costumes, amazing special effects, hilarious jokes and plenty of audience participation SNOW WHITE promises something for everyone.

The show will once again star Grantham’s favourite Dame JOHN HIGHTON who will be appearing in his 11th Guildhall pantomime as Nurse Nelly alongside a full supporting principal cast and wonderful professional dancers.

The Lion In Winter - Stamford Shoestring Theatre Christmas, 1183. The Plantagenet family gather at Pichon Castle for the Yuletide season - but amidst the snow-capped turrets and the wafting smell of roast boar, the fate of England is being sealed.
This is the kingdom of Henry II and his queen, Eleanor of Aquitaine. Courageous, hardy, imperious – Henry is a mountain amongst men. Yet even the strongest must age, and in the waning days of his reign, his thoughts turn to succession.
For the warrior king, a choice between three sons: Richard, Geoffrey and John.
For these sons, the crown is indivisible. Where one leads, the others lose. Only one may sit upon the throne of England.
The halls are decked and the stage is set for a festive night of political intrigue, dark humour and an English titan’s desperate search for legacy.

The Royal Ballet: THE NUTCRACKER 2025 The magician Herr Drosselmeyer needs to save his nephew. Hans-Peter has been transformed into a Nutcracker; the only way to save him is for the Nutcracker to defeat the Mouse King and find a girl to love and care for him. A flicker of hope comes in the form of the young Clara, whom Drosselmeyer meets at a Christmas party. With some magic, a cosy Christmas gathering turns into a marvellous adventure.
Peter Wright’s The Nutcracker has enchanted audiences since its 1984 premiere by the Company. Featuring Tchaikovsky’s most familiar melodies and brought to life by Julia Trevelyan Oman’s exquisite designs, The Nutcracker is sure to be a festive firecracker for all ages.

Woven Chords Winter Concert 2025 Stamford’s popular community choir, Woven Chords, will be back on stage on Thursday 11th December in the Stamford Arts Centre ballroom. Specialising in a cappella (unaccompanied) songs from at least four continents, and often singing in the original languages, they aim to take the audience around the world with songs from Europe , Asia, Africa and the Americas .
