Casino Royal…ty Free (Guildhall)
A side-splitting spy parody by Two’s A Crowd Productions
Three actors. Dozens of characters. Zero actual spy training.
London, 1951. Gideon Slate, Britain’s most “competent-ish” secret agent, is armed with a gun, a tux from the charity shop, and no emotional regulation whatsoever. His mission? To outwit shady villains, survive questionable disguises, and maybe - just maybe - make it to the interval without getting shot.
From the company that brought The Hound of the Baskervilles, The Three Musketeers and The 39 Steps to the stage comes a riotous rollercoaster of espionage, idiocy and international intrigue. Expect high stakes, terrible accents, confused henchmen and evil plots.
A tale of espionage, love and betrayal - think James Bond meets Monty Python. Perfect for fans of Austin Powers, The Play That Goes Wrong and all gloriously over-the-top theatre.

Into the Woods is a musical by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine that intertwines beloved fairy tales with a darker twist. Along the way, they encounter familiar characters—Cinderella, Jack (of beanstalk fame), Little Red Riding Hood, and Rapunzel—each pursuing their own wishes. Act One ends with everyone seemingly achieving their dreams, but Act Two reveals the unforeseen consequences of those wishes. Themes of responsibility, loss, and community emerge as the characters face a vengeful Giant and the collapse of their happily-ever-afters.
